🇺🇸 We Remember. 🇺🇸
Today, we pause to honor and remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001. We remember the victims, the families forever changed, the first responders who ran toward danger, and the countless heroes whose courage and sacrifice continue to inspire us.
Though the years have passed, the lessons of unity, resilience, and compassion remain as important as ever. Today, we reflect, remember, and honor those we lost.
We will never forget. 🕊️

Today, we celebrate the hard work, dedication, and determination of the people who keep our businesses, communities, and country moving forward.

From business owners and entrepreneurs to teachers, healthcare workers, first responders, and skilled tradespeople—thank you for the contributions you make every day.
We hope you enjoy a well-deserved day of rest, reflection, and time with family and friends.

Public policy may not be the first thing that comes to mind when you think about marketing and communications, but the decisions made at the state and local level can have a very real impact on the organizations, communities and events we serve.
This morning, I attended the South Lake Chamber’s (South Lake Chamber of Commerce) Public Policy meeting, where we heard from the Florida Chamber (Florida Chamber of Commerce) about Amendment 3, its potential implications and, importantly, the resources available to help voters understand everything included in the amendment before they head to the polls.
This one hits especially close to home for me.
With so much of my career rooted in events and community engagement, I know firsthand the role our local parks and recreation departments play in bringing communities together. The potential impact of Amendment 3 on those departments could ultimately reach the festivals, events and community programs that depend on them.
Regardless of how you plan to vote, take the time to understand what’s on your ballot, what it means beyond the ballot language and how it could affect your community.
An educated voter is an empowered voter, and sometimes the ripple effects of a single amendment reach much further than we realize.

Spent last week telling a room full of South Lake Young Professionals that their job title means less than they think and their reputation means more than they realize, which is a fun thing to say out loud when you're also the person who overthinks every single post before it goes out.
The whole talk came down to one question I asked the room: if I asked five people who know you professionally to describe you in three words, would those be the three words you'd actually want?
Nobody had a fast answer, which was kind of the point. I liked where that conversation went enough to write it all down, so if you want the version you can actually sit with, check it out here: bit.ly/4zkYKfX ... See MoreSee Less

I had such a great time speaking with the South Lake Young Professionals about something I’ve learned firsthand as an entrepreneur: your personal brand is being built long before you ever introduce yourself.
We talked about showing up with intention, owning your story, and building a reputation that reflects who you are and where you want to go. Thank you for welcoming me and creating space for such a meaningful conversation! 💙 ... See MoreSee Less
